The Fighter's Girl (The Fighters of Absinthe) by Jenika Snow

Description: Izzy Castle's life is anything but exciting. Her only entertainment is working at an adult store, but even that leaves a lot to be desired. But when her roommate of only six months, Brock Larson, makes a move on her, Izzy decides that a little harmless sex with the cage fighter might be just what she needs to feel alive. But she has seen his other one-night stands do the walk of shame, and Izzy doesn't know if her heart can withstand that humiliation.

Brock fights for the underground circuit. He takes what he wants, when he wants it, and makes no apologies for it. He wants Izzy, but it isn't for just one night—what he's used to. Izzy's his, and he will get his knuckles bloody proving that he may be roughened, but when he wants something as badly as he wants her, he won't give up.

Review: I really liked this book, I only wish it were longer than it was. I thought it was sexy as well as exciting.  It had underground fighting which is sexy and exciting in itself.  The fighters are drool worthy too which never hurts. I love that Brock is such a protective guy when it comes to Izzy, but it seems like she draws trouble from what I read. She does know how to handle herself though so that's a plus.  When Brock decides she needs to learn self defense I fell more for him lol.  Over the course of the book there are some pretty heavy sex scenes thst will get you hot and bothered.....if you are human that is haha. The only thing I didn't care for is how similar the guys are that try to harm Izzy. There could have been mire to that to give the readers a better vision of the guys.  Overall I would rate this book in at FOUR STARS!!
