Flip Trick, an all-new standalone bad-boy romance by Amo Jones is NOW AVAILABLE!!

I did something I had never done before.
I had a one-night stand.
Then in true me fashion, I left my phone at his house during my desperate venture to escape.
I tried hard to ignore the texts sent to my best friend’s phone...
Amethyst: Sup, these selfies are cute as shit, but your lips looked better wrapped around my…
I did NOT text him back.
I DID vow to never speak of him, or that night again...
I’m Amethyst Lily Tatum, and up until this point, I’d managed to maintain a fairly low-key life. I’m what you would call a socially unacceptable hot mess. Instead of partying, I’m skating, flipping ollie’s over guys who loved to underestimate me. Then I started college, met a wild girl who I would soon call my best-friend, had my first drunk one-night stand, left my phone at his house, and then, when I finally managed to meet my mom’s new boyfriend, I found out that my one-night stand, was now my new stepbrother.
*this is a standalone novel*

My Review

Holy crap this book had me going from page one! I can't say enough good things about it! While it isn't as mind twisting as her other works I feel like Ms. Jones had knocked it out of the park. I could use some of these guys in my life as well lol. I totally recommend it and I know I will be rereading it myself.

Length: 70,695 words approx.

Blurb

Mathieu Beresford was so close to seeing his dream come true.

The thirty-eight-year-old captain of the Buffalo Surge had led his team to the final round of the playoffs with his aggressive defensive play and leadership. During the first game of the championship series, he was taken down, and his leg snapped upon impact with the boards. From his hospital bed, Mathieu watched his team go on to win it all.

Adrift in anger, resentment, and the new direction of his life, he returns to his mansion along the St. Lawrence River. Alone and sulking, Mathieu is not prepared for Indigo Neu to enter his life. The genderflux twenty-year-old botany major signs on to play nursemaid, confidant, and groundskeeper over the summer and slowly leads Mathieu out of his confusionone tender smile and touch at a time.

The deeper Mathieu falls, the more he wonders if being lost might not be so bad after all.

My Review

Ok just gotta throw out there how often Mathieu pissed me off lmao. Seriously he would be of one mind only to get scared and hurt poor Indigo. I really enjoyed the storyline though, but I wanted to know more about the ghost!  I was really excited to read this book because it sounded so good, and I'm happy to report that it was a good as it sounded. The characters are brilliant! I really admire Indigo for being who he is and his father is my hero. Overall the story was great, characters loveable...minus one lol... and I'm curious to see if there may be a glimpse of them in the future.

Audio Review of Slow Heat (Heat of Love #1) by Leta Blake

Description
A lustful young alpha meets his match in an older omega with a past.

Professor Vale Aman has crafted a good life for himself. An unbonded omega in his mid-thirties, he's long since given up hope that he'll meet a compatible alpha, let alone his destined mate. He's fulfilled by his career, his poetry, his cat, and his friends.

When Jason Sabel, a much younger alpha, imprints on Vale in a shocking and public way, longings are ignited that can't be ignored. Fighting their strong sexual urges, Jason and Vale must agree to contract with each other before they can consummate their passion.

But for Vale, being with Jason means giving up his independence and placing his future in the hands of an untested alpha--as well as facing the scars of his own tumultuous past. He isn't sure it's worth it. But Jason isn't giving up his destined mate without a fight.

This is a stand alone gay romance novel, 118,000 words, with a strong happy ending, as well as a well-crafted, non-shifter omegaverse, with alphas, betas, omegas, male pregnancy, heat, and knotting. Content warning for pregnancy loss and aftermath.

My Review

This is my first audio review on here so it may not be the greatest, but so worth it!

I throughly enjoyed this book. I loved the friendships these two had on their own and now I'm hoping for Xan to have a HEA but how can that be I wonder? Overall a great book though. I got lost in their world and didn't want to leave. I even got the books to read after listening lol. I've since finished the whole series. Really enjoy this author. The voice I listened to was amazing and easy to understand and listen to as well. I will for sure be listening to more audiobooks.
