Jack once long ago had a lover who in turn did something so terrible to him he has never completely gotten over it. Years later he is an injured man having suffered a terrible accident as a firefighter. He finds out his old lover is dead and being a crime scene clean up guy he offers his services to Nick's cousin Ryan. Jack thinks he needs to do this for closure and Ryan wants to do the same thing for some of the same reasons. The book has so much hurt and pain rolled into one amazing ending. I truly loved this book and the characters except for Dave who i think is a total asshole. I would rate this book a four out of five stars.
