Fierce by Clarissa Wild

Description:  Nerdy girl Autumn Blakewood is the prime example of a goody two-shoes. She studies every night, is never late for class, and always follows the rules. She has never felt the need to step out of her comfort zone. That is, until she meets Hunter.

Hunter Bane is a cocky confident bad-boy, who's nothing but trouble. He's a dangerous distraction to everyone around him. Sexy and strong, Hunter enjoys the swooning effect he has on women. Especially those who aren't used to attention, like Autumn.

autumn finds it hard not to give into Hunter's advances, even though it all seems like a game to him. Trying to understand him is impossible, because he shrouds himself in mystery. What she doesn't know is that Hunter has more baggage than anyone should have to carry. When she discovers he's in an illegal frat club to save the one person that matters to him, Autumn realizes this could mean the end of her undeniable connection to him. Even their lives are at risk. But it's too late to turn back now...

Review: The cover of this book is what drew me into wanting to read it to begin with. I mean damn look at it! It's a very sexy cover, kuddos to whoever did actually pick it out. Secondly, when I read what the book was about my curiosity was peaked...I have a thing for bad boys heehee. Yes I did just giggle a little there. When I started the book developed certain feelings toward the characters and while reading my opinion changed a lot. I loved Autumn from the start, the goody, goody who was like a dog with a bone lol. She never quits even when she knows it would be for the best. The only thing that got me is that she tries and tries so hard for Hunter but when it came to her friend Brody she didn't try as hard in my opinion. Not that it really matters, just thought it was curious. Evie, what can I say about that poor girl? Her story isn't new, but I am glad that the author touched on it and the things she dealt with in the party scene. Although I did understand where she was coming from I felt like she was a little selfish for awhile there. Brody, I wanted so badly to like him and did for about five minutes then he turned into a douche. Sigh...Hunter...Yummy!! Gosh he is such the bad boy, from the jacket to his attitude problems. His personality did change from time to time though and that made me worry he was bipolar a bit lol. I would love to re-read this book from Hunter's prospective. I bet that could be a pretty awesome book. This one in itself was really great, I just wish it was more than Autumn's thoughts all the time. This book made me sad at times and confused at others, but in a good way!! I love the pain and happiness they go through from beginning to end. Great book and I cannot wait to read more by this author.
