My Review
Oh how I love Laurann Dohner and all my Species guys. I fell in love with this series from the very first book and not a single book in the series has been any less escoring nor boring in any way. Species are jaded in a way from their treatment by humans. But I find it so romantic that they are able to find true love with humans...much less have babies with them. I love the direction this book took and the character Kat, boy she is fiesty.
When Kat is told she is going undercover it appears to me that she is thrilled she gets to spend time with New Species and so she decides to make the best of it. Only one problem with her plan...she didn't expect an attack on her first day there which causes her to fight alongside the New Species and that is when they suspect she is more than a crime scene tech. Darkness is the one to interrogate her since he is the best at it,but he isn't prepared for the attraction he feels for her.
Now while I would love to spew out all the secrets of the book I'm going to have to instead recommend you buy it for yourself and read.....start at the first book if you are new to New Species . I'm rating this book in at 5 hearts!!!
