Gargoyle ( Woodland Creek ) by Scarlett Dawn

Description

A shifter made of stone. And wings.
A human bent on free love. And drunk.
A joke could be made with those two lines.

But the town of Woodland Creek, it's no laughing matter. Hostile and magical residents guard their secrets. It's too easy to be found out.

When Isaac Stone first meets Kennedy Kirk, he's tempted to shove her off the clock tower. After all, she is gripping his private parts to lean over and see his town. One little push is all it would take...

Isaac never anticipated he'd be the one to fall.

My Review

***I received this ARC from the author in return for my honest opinions. All opinions are my own. ***

Oh how I love the world and characters Scarlett Dawn comes up with. I know this was a collaboration of the minds in creating Woodland Creek, but I love what she has done with it. There is always some excitement and surprises you wouldn't expect. For instance, who would have guessed a certain someone was really a scheming asshole!! I didn't, I can tell you I fully fell for his shit. I really enjoyed the way the story unfolded and loved the interactions. Scarlett always seems to have whitty discussions between characters and it really endures them to you. I can honestly say I was smiling through most of the story.

As always this was another great story that has left me wanting more....always more for crying out loud lol. It should come as no surprise I am rating this one in at five stars..... With her books I never feel like I'm reading a book, I always feel like I'm there with the characters ando the obstacles they have to overcome. It's like a movie rolling through my head and I love every minute of it!!.
