I had previously read the second book in this series but I haven't had the opportunity to read the first book. This is the third book in the series and has characters we were introduced to in book two.
We were made aware of the strange relationship between Jared and Gabriel and how it was starting to wear on him. In this book we get an even more in depth look at how unorthodox it really is. Poor Jared has been in love with Gabriel for quite some time but Gabriel has a girlfriend and they are discussing marriage. He is only hurting himself by staying any longer and when he finds out there is a baby on the way he makes up his mind.
But what was a hard decision was made even harder when Gabriel doesn't want him to go. Not only does he want him to stay but he wants him to be his but without the sex or anything like that. Poor Jared want Gabriel more than anything but feels that isn't enough and leaves.
What follows is misery and depression and longing. Time passes and Gabriel sees that Jared has moved on but he hasn't and makes a trip to the states to get him back. Jared has a boyfriend and a good sex life now but with Gabriel promising a relationship he makes a crazy move again.
The rest of the book deals with their strange relationship and what they go through together trying to make it work. I loved this book and cannot wait for the next installment! We were given a look into the trouble Gabriel's brother will be getting into and with whom lol. Overall rating this in at four hearts!!!
