My Review
*** I received this ARC from the author. All opinions and conclusions are my own.***
Omg, just when I didn't think this series could get any more dramatic!!! Holy hell this one was so dark, and so emotional on another level, I'm still reeling from it.
Poor Bex, she never stood a chance from a young age she was kinda f***** up and when she found something that helped her pain she did a good job of hiding it. I love how much her friend loves her and worries about her. Then there is Lucky who I have had it bad for since we were first introduced to him lol. He brings light heartedness with him and it was always refreshing. Now we all know he's a badass... He has to be, he is in the MC. But you just have to love him.
Things get real bad... I'm talking real bad and there are certain triggers for some here.... That's when the darkness hits a new level. That's when my happy go lucky,Lucky, isn't so bright anymore.
I think I died a little inside at the time and while I wanted so badly to hate Bex for making him that way, I just couldn't. I know this is long so I'll end it by saying, through everything, all the bad and the bits of good, this has been one of my favorite books ever. I am only rating it in at five because that's the highest I can. Otherwise it would be a big freaking ten.
