Description
International photojournalist Lucy O'Brien returns to her hometown of Dare Valley after a devastating trauma that threatens her livelihood. When her mother asks her to do a photo shoot for a Calendar Girls-like calendar to raise money for breast cancer, she can’t take their…ahem…ribald photos fast enough. Too bad her involvement stirs up her childhood best friend, Boy-Next-Door and widower Andy Hale, in all the wrong ways.
My Review
*** I received this ARC from the author in return for my honest opinions. All opinions are my own. ***
This is book #9 in the Dare Valley series and they just keep getting better! This time we have a sexy widower trying to raise his son the best way he knows how and a photographer who is his friend from childhood trying to relax and recuperate . Needless to say there will be drama lol.
I love books that go with the theme of friends to lovers.... there is just something so sexy and romantic about that. This friendship has gone through some tough times and I love how they act together. He is still mourning the loss of his wife and with the injury she has she is scared.
This is a story not only of friends to lovers, but a take on how friends can lean on each other in times of need. The story will bring tears after times and laughter during other times, but all in all its a romantic story with heartache and healing. I rate this in at four stars!
