My Review

I loved the beginning of this book lol. Not only was I laughing my butt off but you could already feel that yummy chemistry building. Although I must throw in right away how ignorant I feel that Chrissy's brother is and overall I didn't care for him until the end....which may have been the author's intent. I love MMA and all that alpha maleness that leaks out when you watch the guys fight. I wanted to read this book as soon as I read the tite of it. I was highly upset with Jack for his little white lie, which I will not go into details about, but when you read it you will know what I'm talking about.  I really wish the book could have been longer because I know for sure I would still be reading it just to get more. I didn't want it to end. I loved the characters and the story that was layed out for us. I would love to read more by this author and in the future I am sure I will. Overall I would rate this book in at four stars!!!

My Review

***I received a copy of this book in return for my honest opinions***

This was such a cute book. I love the main female character and the things she is willing to go through to learn how to conquer her fear and learn to swim. I wish back in the day when I learned how to swim I had someone as good looking as she does though lol. From start to finish the book keeps you entertained with the conversations between certain characters make you laugh, and get angry on their behalf. I have to admit that this book was just the cutest thing I have read in such a long time and that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am rating it in at four stars because of some of the things that happen between certain people that shouldn't happen until there is a breakup no matter how much it was much deserved.

My Review

***"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."***
I have read some of Ava Miles's books in the past and although I have enjoyed them I never loved them really. After reading this book though I love her. I'm one of those readers that have to get into what they are reading and feel some kind of connection to the characters. I felt that right away with Jane, she has given up her alter ego and her slutty looking clothes that went along with the job she was doing with her friends. She and her best friend work with a professional card player to analyze other players and the way they play. During this job she and her friend dressed up to look completely different to appear as no threat. Still watching the dogs that belong to her former boss she meets Matt and his very rambunctious dog. He has noticed her before but when she uses her Dog Whispering powers to help him out he begins to see her more. When she finds out he is planning on running for political office she freaks because that could mean her past will come out to be known. Even though she has come to love him will she be able to deal with this whole mess? Read it and see!!!!

My Review

*** I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions***

Normally I can get into BDSM, not in my personal life, but reading it I get the attraction to it. I have read the Inside Out Series that go along with this and I really enjoyed them. These stories in the journal are very seductive and erotic. I loved reading things from her point of view as well as the bonus that is in his point of view. It took me awhile to read all of this but it didn't take me long to get into it. Although I did enjoy it there were times I didn't feel the connection I need to feel to really, really enjoy it. There really isn't much I can tell you about the book that isn't in the description, it really is just something that needs to be read on your own. Overall I would rate this book in at three and a half stars so i'm going to round it up to four stars.

Forbidden Surrender ( Surrender #1) by Priscilla West

First off before everything, I wanted to apologize for not having my reviews up when they were supposed to be up. I have been having laptop troubles and have just now gotten it back in semi-working order. I will be posting my backlogged reviews and trying to make amends to everyone who has been waiting for them! Excuses are unacceptable but some things cannot be helped. Thank you!

Description

"What gives you a thrill Kristen?"

The minute I saw Vincent Sorenson, I knew he was trouble. Billionaire. Bad boy. And dangerously sexy. He was everything I craved, and nothing I needed.

Unfortunately, I couldn't just avoid him. The higher ups at my company decided they needed his business, and I was on the team to bring him in. Vincent Sorenson didn't seem as interested in business as he was in me, but I knew that was a door better left unopened. If I got involved with him, it would only unearth the pain I spent years trying to bury.

I thought I had it under control, but I seriously underestimated Vincent's seductive charm and silver-tongue. I would soon find out how delicious it would feel to let myself fall into this forbidden surrender.

My Review

***I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions***
Starting at the beginning I really enjoyed the banter between the two characters, I had a serious dislike for Richard and the way he treats people...makes me wonder how he even has clients. When Vincent and Kristen meet there is instant chemistry that she fights since she is there on business, but it is hard for her to deny the way he feels when she is suddenly held in his arms after a clumsy fall. I must admit that he is very persistent and doesn't take the word no seriously.  He has it in his head that she shouldn't be so concerned with him being a client and just go with it and even offers to show her what she is missing out on lol. I love her best friend Riley, she is a hoot. When she finally agrees on a date with Vincent I was smiling wondering what was going to happen.  I'm not sure I liked the way it ends, but I know it is just leaving it open for the following book. Overall I would rate this book in at three stars.

Review:

**I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher in return for my honest opinion.**
If I Were You is a different kind of BDSM novel than I usually read. Sara who is a teacher, has started reading a journal that belongs to a lady named Rebecca. There is a great deal of mystery and secrets involved with this lady and just that little bit grabbed my attention. Sara is concerned for the well being of Rebecca and has made it her mission to return her belongings to her so she goes in search of her. She finds the place she works and instead of finding Rebecca, who is mysteriously away with someone, she finds two gorgeous men. One is Mark the owner of the gallery the other is Chris, one of her favorite artists. While both men seem to have some kind of tension going on between them, she is amazed when after telling Mark she can take over Rebecca's job until she comes back that he actually hires her!!! What follows is a lot of what appears to be mind games from Mark and confusing sexual tension with Chris. The ending really leaves you hanging and making me want to smack some people around to make them realize what feelings are since they are so clueless apparently.

While I did thoroughly get involved in all of the characters lives, I would have liked to know more about both men. I do understand why the author leaves us hanging on that information though, I'm sure it will come out in the next installment. (Which I hope comes out soon because I am ready for it!!!!) Overall I would rate this book in at FOUR STARS!!!!!
